Virginia Hall flames off the pages of ‘A Woman of No Importance.’  the embodiment of integrity: saw what needed to be done & did it in the face of overwhelming odds of evil & danger. not to mention sexism & her own physical condition. must have felt that everything & everyone was against her, yet somehow she persisted. there’s a reason you were guided to this story.

dogs are always good role models in basic ways. Dottie wants a comfortable amount of exercise mornings & evenings, breakfast, & dinner with a small afternoon snack & maybe an excursion to the mailbox. otherwise, she’s sleeping. works for her!

told [a friend who’s been ill] about amazement list & encouraged her to make one. could make one yourself for these strange times.

In less than 5 minutes I filled a page with a ‘Lockdown Amazement List’ of things like receiving ‘stealth’ gift deliveries, counting 20 different flowers blooming in my yard & strengthening/renewing friendships. Highly recommended!

if you can’t work in the yard, you can take time to view & admire what you’ve already accomplished. very grateful to look out on park-like setting filled with birdsong & the sound of the fountain splashing. let this sense of peaceful contentment balance the onslaught of negativity & fear. nature patiently persists. let it guide & soothe you.
