writing about San Antonio’s Landa Library & McNay Art Museum in the late 1960s: so many hours spent exploring their nooks & crannies. given free rein in both places. art, books & architecture a splendid backdrop. blessed to have so much freedom. almost unbelievable now.

Alternate Hand: writing has always come naturally to you & has been a source of comfort as well as joy. likely why this [alternate handwriting] practice is such a good match but convinced of its power even for those who hate writing, as some of your students have said they do.
