Dominant Hand: it’s hard to get inspired [about a new project]. Stress-depression, maybe.

Alternate Hand: understandable, & heat doesn’t help. or headlines. also know you’re blessed to have house & income & health care. there are many who are too terrified to have the luxury of depression. or too exhausted.

know some of the lines [from the ‘90s sitcom “Coach”] by heart & still enjoy its cleverness & slapstick. that kind of mental & physical humor is rare & much fun. just thought, mindfulness & mindlessness. both have essential roles to play & both can bring joy.

can see [my antique rose bush] Old Blush blazing like a chandelier as you write. have bouquet of it & Souvenirs [de Malmaison, another antique rose] on bedside table with more ready to be picked. liberation from worries at your fingertips. spirit lifters you’ve nurtured, returning the favor tenfold.

small calendars pack a huge wallop: so many events documented/memories triggered by cryptic notes in these small spaces. grateful for life-long habit of documentation. goes back to 1st diary at age 10. instinctive with you & has served you well.
