The Maze at Windermere talks often about ‘mere’ diary writing, but you’ve felt that necessity since age 10. a part of who you are: have always recognized the importance of recording your life. a way to make it more real in a way, & let earlier ‘versions’ of yourself speak many years later. a priceless gift to yourself.

watching [a child I mentor’s] interest in an Erik Blegvad book from the ‘80s was lovely. as was her preferring reading to playing cards or games.  truly hope you can instill the gift of loving to read in her. an accomplishment to be proud of.

don’t like being rude but that can be a fine line when it comes to expressing feelings. prefer kindness but often at the expense of yourself. notice the difference between kindness & sacrifice. not always a fair trade!
