I’ve met and admire Angela Loeb, the co-host and author of What you need to know to GET A JOB NOW! She’s a career coach and a board member of an Austin NPO called Launch Pad Job Club. Angela is very generous with her experience and support and funny to boot.

If you’re going to be in Austin, I’ll be teaching a class called The Therapist at Your Fingertips at the Human Potential Center on Saturday, November 13. For more info, check the calendar at  www.humanpotentialcenter.org I’ll be offering continuing education units for licensed social workers and counselors through the auspices of the Center and its director, Bob McGary. Another kind and generous soul, Bob is past president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology and I hope he doesn’t mind my saying that he’s pretty much a walking Linus.

And did you know that this month has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays? It only happens once every 823 years. According to Chinese tradition, these are considered money bags months. It’s also supposed to be good luck to pass this information along. Who am I to argue with tradition?
